Over 25 counters will be open for checking passports and security documents, as well as 15 baggage carousels, making it easier for guests to get in and out of the facility quickly. The addition of a new international terminal is expected to have a positive effect on the entire Las Vegas community, but will directly affect the tradeshow industry. “Terminal 3 not only opens the doors to a whole new experience for the international traveler, it’s a game changer for the meetings and conventions industry,” said Chris Meyer, CEM, CMP, vice president of sales for the LVCVA. “Our recent ranking as the top tradeshow destination in the country for the 18th straight year proves that Las Vegas is a place that is serious about doing business.”
