|Early sign-up encouraged for GIBTM 2013|

Building on the success of GIBTM 2012, which saw exhibitor satisfaction levels at an all-time high, the Gulf Incentives, Meeting and Business Travel Exhibition (GIBTM), has received an increased number of early rebookings for next year’s show. GIBTM 2013 is set to take place in the ADNEC, Abu Dhabi, from the March 25-27, 2013.
“There definitely was a buzz and a greater energy around the show this year, with a lot more regional buyers and walk-in visitors, which is what we are striving to achieve,” said Gillian Taylor, business events manager, Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority. “GIBTM is always successful for us and gives us a great opportunity to showcase Abu Dhabi to the hosted buyers and the global industry from the news stories that emanate from it. It is definitely the region’s must-attend business events tradeshow.”
Companies signing up early can benefit from year-round exposure on the website and dedicated GIBTM social media channels. They will also gain preshow exposure to buyers who use the online exhibitor directory as a supplier’s guide. All exhibitors participating in GIBTM can also make the most of additional marketing opportunities including press release exposure through their exhibitor portal.
“As a first time exhibitor, GIBTM has been really productive,” said Craig Tunstall, project director, Eventware. “There has been a lot of interest especially from Saudi Arabia, and we saw a number of high quality people with good questions. There is great potential in the Middle East market and GIBTM is the best forum for our technology. It is a springboard for launching the partnership and a brand we want to align ourselves with.”
“We are delighted with the response we have had so far and it’s great that organizations are signing up early to make the most of what GIBTM has to offer as a year round marketing tool,” said Lois Hall, event director, GIBTM. “Our primary aim is to deliver quantifiable return on investment for everyone attending and we conduct extensive post show research each year to ensure all of our attendees are completely satisfied with their experience.”
Reed Travel Exhibitions is encouraging companies to confirm their participation early, securing the early booking rate, which is only available to companies returning their signed contract to exhibit by July 15, 2012.
