Officials in Baja California recently inaugurated the state’s first convention center located along the scenic highway between Tijuana and Rosarito. The approximately 300,000-square-foot convention center overlooking the Pacific Ocean can accommodate events with up to 11,500 attendees.

The events industry charity partnership, Events for Namuwongo, has announced that in one evening the industry raised $155,000 during Namuwongo Night, held May 2 at the Novotel London West.

EIBTM, the global hub for the meeting and events industry, which is dedicated to driving the industry forward, is working on a new look to the show floor for this year’s event. The exhibition hall in Fira Gran Via in Barcelona will feature a new design and layout dedicated toward giving the visitor and exhibitor experience a fresh appeal.
