CEMA announces winner of Technology Shoot Out
Written by Exhibit City News
Wednesday, September 30 2009 16:05
CEMA, the Corporate Event Marketing Association, announced that BusyEvent, a St. Louis-based company, won the third Technology Shoot Out in August.

BusyEvent’s demo featured BeLinker, a social networking, expo lead management, session tracking and audience response system all wrapped up into a tiny wearable device.

“What I love about the Technology Shoot Out is that in a fast paced format, attendees can see cutting edge event technology that will impact their future events,” said Erika Brunke, executive director of CEMA.

This year, four companies participated in the Technology Shoot Out, an audience favorite at CEMA Summit.  Each company received 10 minutes to demo their technology and attendees voted for the best technology.

CEMA Summit 2009 hosted 175 senior level event marketing professionals from the technology sector for three days of education and networking.

“As a technology company that works with event production companies as well as directly with the organizations, CEMA is jammed full of the highest quality people who not only understand what we do, but can clearly see the value it can bring to them,” said David Schenberg, principal at BusyEvent. “Simply put, CEMA facilitates the highest quality connections.”

Additional information on CEMA is available by visiting www.cemaonline.com. To watch the winning demo, visit www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwVhfRTzb38.
