John Hogan has joined The Inception Company as executive director, business development reporting directly to the company’s president, Shaun Urban.
Hogan has nearly 20 years of sales experience across all facets of the live and virtual event industry. For the last seven years, he was a senior account executive with Rentex Computer & Audio Visual, one of the largest providers of AV rental equipment to many of the major production and entertainment companies in the U.S.
Prior to joining Rentex, he spent three years in business development at Dyventive, Inc. and was responsible for overseeing the implementation of AV, staging, production and virtual services for live and hybrid events. Prior to that, he was as an account executive for NMR Staging and Events for more than ten years where he was responsible for selling and facilitating production, staging and audio visual services nationally to companies hosting national sales meetings, user conferences, corporate events and tradeshows.

On the personal front, Hogan is an avid animal lover and affectionately spoils his Teacup Yorkie named Zeke and cat named Snowii (who is nearly three times bigger than Zeke!). In his free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, fishing, hot yoga and is a huge sports fan as well as personal fitness enthusiast.
