IAEE Announces 2023 Award Winners: Celebrating Excellence in the Exhibition Industry
The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) is proud to announce the winners of the 2023 IAEE Awards Program. These awards recognize outstanding contributions by IAEE members and member companies who have made significant impacts on the industry. The 2023 IAEE Award Winners were thoughtfully selected by the IAEE Awards Committee and approved by the IAEE Board of Directors, following a call for nominations by IAEE members earlier this year.
Bob O’Connell, Chairperson of the 2023 IAEE Awards Committee, remarked, “Each year, the Awards Committee has the honor of recognizing IAEE members who demonstrate exceptional dedication and talent within the organization and the industry. We extend our appreciation to everyone who participated in this year’s awards program.”
IAEE’s Interim CEO, Cathy Breden, added, “The IAEE Awards represent the highest honors in the industry. We are delighted to acknowledge the exceptional efforts of IAEE members who consistently go above and beyond, making a positive difference in our association and the industry as a whole.”
The Pinnacle Award: Honoring Exceptional Contribution
The Pinnacle Award is the most prestigious of the IAEE Awards, recognizing an IAEE member who has made significant contributions to advancing exhibitions and events management. This individual has promoted education, shared knowledge, introduced innovative techniques, and upheld the highest standards of trust and professionalism in the industry.
We are thrilled to announce that the 2023 IAEE Pinnacle Award recipient is Larry Arnaudet, Executive Director of the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association (ESCA). Larry’s journey in the exhibitions and events industry began in 1970, and since then, he has made remarkable contributions to the field.
One of Larry’s notable achievements is the creation of the ESCA Badge program, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing security measures for the entire industry. This program has played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of event attendees, exhibitors, and staff, setting a standard for trust and professionalism within the industry.
Larry Arnaudet, an IAEE charter associate member, has been actively involved with various industry associations and has made a lasting impact through his dedication and passion for building meaningful relationships.
