Las Vegas Spends $3 Million on Exhibit Booths

LAS VEGAS – It’s an expensive proposition putting heads in beds of 150,000 hotel rooms in Las Vegas, something just shy of $3 million that Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) spends on exhibition booths at eight major tourism and travel tradeshows a year. Floor space is extra.

Industry Organizations Urge FCC to Protect Tradeshows

Earlier today, the Exhibitions & Conferences Alliance (ECA), the public policy voice of the U.S. business and professional events industry, submitted comments to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on behalf of 100 industry organizations urging the agency to preserve longstanding rules that allow new and emerging technologies to be imported, displayed, and demonstrated at U.S. events and tradeshows before receiving final FCC equipment authorization.
