Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event Scheduled

AIME 2019 is scheduled for Feb. 18-20, 2019, at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Center in Melbourne Australia.  Organizers thank the AIME community for the commitment to this vision and say that it is encouraging to see that AIME is once again making an impact in the region, evident by the commitment of the buyers registering to attend, and to the exhibitors jumping on board–some of whom haven’t been at AIME for a while.

Currently 65 percent of all the event’s hosted buyers are from outside Australia, and 48 percent of these have never attended AIME before. This is new business to AIME and all have business to contract in Asia Pacific.

Exchange of ideas, experiences and global trends open AIME with the Monday Knowledge Program, Melbourne Edge. The organization introduced it’s Content Weaver Fabian Pfortmüller (pictured right). The Swiss community expert is set to draw together the community, weaving content to connect all with interactive, meaningful engagement.

Organizers note that Pfortmüller cares deeply about building communities and believes that when people come together, trust each other and feel they belong, magic happens. His mission is to help people and organizations build more meaningful communities.

“We are at a real turning point,” says Pfortmüller. “Humanity is both more connected and more disconnected than ever before. People are hungry for more meaningful conversations and relationships. And the events industry is in an incredible position to have tremendous positive impact that will benefit the participants, the businesses and the industry overall. But is the industry ready to shift mindsets and embrace the massive opportunity at hand? AIME 2019 will be the perfect place to understand tomorrow’s landscape and to discuss with industry leaders about what’s to come. I can’t wait!”

Organizers promise attendees 32 appointments that are carefully matched to ensure the needs of their buyers are aligned against the destinations and services of their exhibitors, so that when they meet, these appointments are worth everyone’s time. They plan to match up to 14,000 appointments using Centium’s EventsAIR. More than 200 international exhibitors are already signed up.
