
ATLANTA, Georgia – Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) announces the promotion of Bruno Njiensi to accounts payable manager. Njiensi will now oversee and streamline ACVB’s accounts payable function. His responsibilities will also include managing vendor relations and compliance, maintaining financial schedules and the fixed asset register and tracking organizational commitments and concessions. Additionally, he will lead process improvement initiatives by integrating advanced financial technology and automation to enhance internal controls.
Njiensi joined ACVB in June 2009 as a staff accountant before being promoted to accountant in February 2017. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in strengthening financial operations, including managing payroll and transitioning the organization’s focus toward modernized accounts payable practices. While managing his departmental duties, Njiensi earned both the accounts payable specialist and accounts payable manager certifications from the Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM).
