InfoComm 2018 Show Honored by IAEE’s Art of the Show

AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, and host of InfoComm 2018, the largest professional audiovisual trade show in North America, was honored with two awards in the annual International Association of Exhibitions and Events Art of the Show competition. IAEE is the largest association of the exhibitions and events industry in the world.

InfoComm 2018 won awards for Show Brand Design/Development and Signage/Décor for shows over 200,001 net square feet. All winners will be recognized at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s annual meeting & exhibition, Dec. 11-13 in New Orleans.

AVIXA has partnered with event website and creative agency ASP to develop the brand concept for the last two InfoComm shows, as well as InfoComm 2019. Freeman, a leading provider of integrated services for experiential marketing, was the official decorator and creator of the onsite branding for InfoComm 2018.

“Being honored by IAEE is a testament to the labor and love that’s put into the InfoComm show by the AVIXA team and our talented partners ASP and Freeman,” says AVIXA CEO David Labuskes. “Pro-AV is a fast-evolving industry, so the brand of our show needs to reflect that vibrancy. Each year, we collaborate with our partners to push the show to a new level of excitement for our exhibitors and attendees. Being recognized by IAEE motivates us to push even further.”

InfoComm 2018 took place June 6-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and hosted 964 exhibitors and nearly 43,000 registered attendees. The show’s 550,000 net square feet of exhibits, demo rooms and special events space made it the biggest InfoComm ever. InfoComm 2019 is scheduled June 12-14 in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center.

InfoComm is the largest technology exhibition and conference in North America focused on the pro-AV industry. The Trade Show News Network ranked InfoComm the number 30 top U.S. trade show in 2017. The show was also honored in Trade Show Executive’s Global 100. InfoComm is part of a global alliance of tradeshows, produced by AVIXA and its partners, including Integrated Systems Europe, Beijing InfoComm China, Chengdu InfoComm China, InfoComm India, InfoComm Southeast Asia, TecnoMultimidia InfoComm Brasil, TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia, TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico, Integrated Systems Russia and Integrate.
