MGM Resorts International has appointed Stephanie Glanzer as senior vice president and chief sales officer, overseeing the company’s convention sales and operations efforts.

Glanzer has been with MGM Resorts since 1998. She was most recently the vice president of sales strategy and operations, where she was responsible for ensuring effectiveness and consistency in the total group sales operation, including sales, convention services, catering and wedding chapels across the entire organization.

Glanzer previously served as the vice president of sales at Mandalay Bay and Delano Las Vegas, where she provided strategic leadership and direction for the Hotel Sales department that includes more than 2 million square feet of convention and exhibit space.
Prior to coming to Mandalay Bay, Glanzer was VP of sales and marketing at ARIA Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa at CityCenter in Las Vegas. Glanzer was on the opening team of CityCenter, where she played an instrumental role in the planning, development and creation of ARIA as a premier convention destination.
Glanzer earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Southern Methodist University.
