The third annual ECEF TechDemo and closing reception May 27 in Washington, D.C., will be bigger than ever. More than six months in advance, it is already almost fully reserved, with only two of the 14 kiosks available.
Launched at the 2018 Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum (ECEF) with 10 demonstration stations, additional stations have been added each year.
“Because just about every TechDemo sponsor quickly reserved kiosks for 2020, we can only accommodate two additional TechDemo sponsors,” says Sam Lippman, president of Lippman Connects, producer of ECEF. “Once again, we’ll make sure the best event-ready technologies get front of executives and technologists from association and independent organizers.”
As of Dec. 16, TechDemo sponsors include: 42Chat; Experient; Freeman, featuring four distinct solutions in four demo stations; GES; Gleanin, new for 2020; Map Your Show; mdg; PSAV; and Ungerboeck Software International.
Keynote speakers are Chet Burchett, CEO of Reed Exhibitions, and Julie Cottineau, founder and CEO of BrandTwist.
Burchett joined Reed Exhibitions in 2004 as President of the Americas and in 2015 was appointed global CEO. Prior to joining Reed Exhibitions, he was president and chief executive officer for Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations agency. His background includes heavy emphasis on client service in the areas of CEO reputation, corporate brands, and consumer and B2B marketing.
Cottineau is best-selling author of “TWIST: How Fresh Perspectives Build Breakthrough Brands.” Her unique TWIST approach looks outside of traditional business practices and TWISTs new inspiration for solutions that stand out.
As in previous years, TechDemo will be held in conjunction with the closing reception immediately following the ECEF program. ECEF will be held May 27 in Washington D.C. at the JW Marriott.
