The Eastside Rooms is celebrating after winning at the West Midlands Tourism Awards, where it was named Business Events Venue of the Year. The award, presented last night at Edgbaston Park Stadium, recognises The Eastside Rooms’ excellence in delivering world-class events and conferences. This achievement also secures the venue a place on the shortlist for the in the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence later this year.
The awards, hosted by Amber Sandhu of BBC Asian Network, saw The Eastside Rooms come in ahead of strong competition from CBS Arena, theStudio, and Conference Aston. The rigorous judging process involved a written nomination followed by a three-hour, in-person visit from Al Titterington, Terminal Operations Director at Birmingham Airport.
Receiving the award on behalf of The Eastside Rooms was a proud team of ten, including Matt Huddart, Regional General Manager, and Leanne Bladen, Director of Sales & Marketing. “We are extremely grateful to win Business Events Venue of the Year,” said Leanne. “This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, who go above and beyond to deliver outstanding events.
