Earlier this year, the lives of Tony Barras‘ friends and family were upended when he was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in May. What followed was a difficult and heartbreaking journey as Tony faced this formidable challenge.
Barras, a well-known figure in the tradeshow industry, has dedicated over 27 years to his role as Vice President of the Labor Division at EWI Worldwide/Term Group. His leadership and expertise in production management, event management, and team building have made him a respected professional in the field. Before joining EWI, Barras served as Director of Exhibit Services at GES Exposition Services, further cementing his impact on the industry.

In response to his ongoing battle, the community has rallied around Barras and his family. A GoFundMe campaign organized to help cover his medical expenses has raised $13,755 as of August 29, with 42 generous donations contributing toward the $50,000 goal. This support has been a source of strength for Barras and his loved ones, underscoring the impact he has had on those around him.
