LAS VEGAS — August 2026 — Willwork Global Event Services brought together nearly 100 employees from across the country for Willwork University, a three-day companywide training program at Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas.

The program brought Willwork teams together to strengthen internal processes, share knowledge across departments and create greater consistency in how projects move from initial planning through onsite execution.

Since the pandemic, Willwork has experienced significant growth in its workforce, service offerings and national footprint. That expansion has increased the importance of ensuring employees across departments and markets are working from the same playbook.

“Growth creates opportunity, but it also makes communication and consistency more important than ever,” said Bill Nixon, owner and CEO of Willwork Global Event Services. “Willwork University gave us the chance to get our people in the same room, walk through how each department contributes to a successful project, and have meaningful conversations about how we can work better together. When our teams understand not only their role, but what happens before and after their part of the process, we ultimately deliver a better experience for our clients.”

Over three days, employees attended sessions led by Willwork team members covering the full lifecycle of an event project. Training topics included contracting, project management, work orders and quality control, labor planning, design and graphics, rental solutions, production and logistics, structure construction, safety and risk management, and onsite execution.

The program also gave employees who regularly work together from different offices and markets an opportunity to connect face-to-face, exchange ideas and gain a better understanding of the responsibilities and challenges faced by other departments.

Willwork University reflects the company’s continued investment in its workforce as the organization grows. By establishing shared processes, strengthening communication and increasing employees’ understanding of how departments work together, Willwork aims to create greater consistency across projects while continuing to develop the teams behind them.
