Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI), an independent Global Sales Organization (GSO) serving the meetings and incentives markets, expanded its Global Sales team.
As regional director of sales for the West Coast, Amber Voelker is responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists and business executives in the West U.S.
Voelker will provide GSO services and professional sales support for ALHI’s portfolio of more than 170 hotels and resorts worldwide. She is based in Los Angeles and reports to ALHI Division Vice President Chris Riccardi.
“Our team has had the privilege of working with Amber for the past six years during her tenure at The Langham Huntington, and know first-hand what an outstanding job she does, with tremendous dedication, talent and great sales and leadership skills,” said Jim Schultenover, president, ALHI. “She will be a valuable advocate and asset for ALHI clients in the region, and for our worldwide portfolio of member hotels and resorts. She is there to assist planners in helping them to identify and coordinate the right site solutions at luxury-level and upper-upper tier hotels and resorts for their meetings, conventions and incentive programs.”
Voelker comes to ALHI from The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Calif., which is a long-time ALHI member hotel. She served that property for almost 12 years, including the past four years as the director of group sales.
Prior to that, she was senior group sales manager and served for five years in sales (two of which were as group sales manager) for The Ritz-Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa before it was converted to The Langham Huntington. Previous to that she was the director of sales for the Hollywood Hotel.
