The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) detailed key milestones for 2013 for what was a year of “firsts” that support the long-term mission of the organization, which is to provide stakeholders of the global exhibitions and events industry with information and resources that will advance the industry’s success.
Trusted since 1928, IAEE provides quality and value to its members through leadership, service, education and strong relationships. IAEE’s membership of show organizers, exhibitors and exhibition suppliers participate in more than 20,000 exhibitions and buyer-seller events around the world, and the organization advocates and promotes the awareness of face-to-face exhibitions and events as the primary medium for business development and growth. This timeline details IAEE’s initiatives and includes links to additional information, news releases and IAEE-TV reports.
“I am thrilled with the progress of the association after my first year on board. It is both satisfying and promising that IAEE’s board of directors has developed a great strategic plan and has supported the staff in its work to explore new opportunities for success and make IAEE’s presence felt by exhibitions and events industry professionals around the globe. Volunteer leaders and staff look forward to even more success in 2014,” said David DuBois, president and CEO, IAEE.
