Hargrove adds two shows to its portfolio

ACRP 2010

Hargrove as the general services contractor for the ACRP Global Conference and Exposition through 2013.

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and ARMA International, the authority on records and information management, has named Hargrove as the general services contractor for their respective conferences through 2013.

At the ACRP Global Conference & Exhibition, Hargrove will be responsible for the production of the five-day event, which brings together approximately 2,500 international members of the clinical research team devoted to research and development of new drugs, medical devices, and biologics for learning and networking in workshops, sessions, keynote presentations, networking opportunities, and exhibit hall functions.

The meeting will be held in Seattle, Wash., in 2011, Houston, Texas, in 2012 and Orlando, Fla., in 2013. ACRP is the primary resource for the professional development and certification of clinical research professionals in industry settings, hospitals, academic medical centers, and physician offices. Headquartered in Alexandria, Va., ACRP is a global organization comprised of more than 18,000 individuals in more than 60 countries dedicated to clinical research and development.

ACRP is Hargrove’s newest medical show, as the company’s portfolio includes work for eClinicalWorks, the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, the National Medical Association and the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry.

“Hargrove was selected as a result of the company’s ability to offer quality service and innovative ideas on improving the operation and look of events,” said Cindy Savery, meeting planner for ACRP. “We are excited about building on the success of our past conferences with the fresh look and feel and with the enhanced technologies Hargrove offers for such major events. Keeping our attendees and exhibitors happy and well-informed as they move throughout the conference is a priority that we anticipate this partnership will help us fulfill in the years ahead.”

“We are extremely proud to have been appointed as ACRP’s general services contractor, and look forward to providing the association with exemplary service and helping it achieve its goals for the show,” said Tim McGill Hargrove CEO.

At the ARMA International Annual Conference and Expo, Hargrove will manage the tradeshow, graphics and other show requirements for the conference scheduled to take place at locations across the country, from Washington DC to Las Vegas.

“In today’s business environment, records and information management is crucial for business function and keeps organizations competitive and compliant,” said Elizabeth Zlitni, exposition manager at ARMA International. “The goal of The Annual Conference & Expo is to put the right resources and vendors at the fingertips of the professional community that is in need of their services. We believe that Hargrove is the best partner to assist in showcasing all that ARMA International can offer its members and constituents.”

The conference typically hosts nearly 4,000 attendees and features more than 80 education programs presented by experts in the legal, IT, and records and information professions, as well as an Expo Hall filled with more than 200 exhibiters that service the records and information management community.

“If you want solutions to the challenges the records and information management profession faces today, this conference is a must,” said Zlitni. “Annually, we are able to provide the platform to see the industry’s emerging technologies and understand how to apply them to your business strategies. We look forward to Hargrove helping us take this platform to the next level.”

“Hargrove had a strong year in 2010, despite of the continued challenges with the economy,” said McGill. “We’ve seen great results from our Las Vegas office and this addition to our portfolio is an example of that work. We look forward to partnering closely with ARMA. They’ve got a tremendous show, and we’re going to do all we can to help them move forward strategically.”
