Getting a needed jumpstart is the professional certified meeting manager (CMM) designation for professionals in the meetings industry.
Leading the effort is Meeting Professionals International and the Global Business Travel Association, both of whom are taking concerns voiced by current holders of the designation into the process.
All phases of the resignation are being addressed, including branding, eligibility, assessment and the designation itself. Standards, currently, are being revised, which include a specified amount of experience in the industry required for meetings professionals who are working toward a future designation.
