The 9th Annual Las Vegas Scholarship Golf Classic, which was postponed in May, is now scheduled to take place on August 19 at the Rhodes Ranch Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev. The tournament was originally scheduled for June 10.
The Las Vegas Chapter of the EDPA is working with the EDPA Foundation to produce the event, which is scheduled to include golf, goody bags, door prizes, a continental breakfast and an awards luncheon with a deluxe menu of open grilled items.
The Board of Directors of the EDPA Las Vegas Chapter originally postponed the tournament because of the heavy workload the industry was experiencing.
The board received feedback regarding the June 10 date, and they wanted to ensure that everyone who participates in the tournament is able to come, relax and enjoy their time. For this reason, they decided to postpone.
“For those of you that have attended this event in the past, you know you are in for a great time,” said Alicia Rosen, president of the Las Vegas Chapter. “For those that are new to the tournament, get ready for an exciting day on the course with good company and fun contests.”
The Las Vegas Chapter is still taking registrations for the Golf Classic and the following packages are still available.
