Dubai Airshow service to be enhanced by new director

Dubai Airshow, an international event organized by F&E Aerospace, strengthened its team with the addition of a new aerospace director.

With the appointment of Caryn McConnachie, the show will benefit from her experience as it moves toward its 2015 event.

ECN 042015_POM_Dubai Airshow _Caryn McConnachieMcConnachie brings more than 16 years of experience running events internationally across the Middle East, Europe, Russia, North America, Latin America and Asia, in a wide range of sectors including aerospace and defense. She returns to F&E Aerospace, where she was previously director of operations, after five years with IDEX organizers ADNEC.

Under her guidance, exhibitors can expect an increased level of service plus draw on her wealth of experience for advice. In addition, she will be responsible for overseeing the show’s growth as it expands to meet the demands of market growth in the region.

“I’m thrilled to be returning to F&E Aerospace in the lead up to the Dubai Airshow 2015,” she said. “It’s an exciting time for the industry in the region, and I look forward to seeing the Dubai Airshow continue to be an integral part of this growth.”

Organized under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Airshow is held in co-operation with the UAE Armed Forces, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Dubai Airports.
