Hill & Partners Inc., a full-service tradeshow exhibit design firm, recently surprised South Shore Habitat for Humanity with an end-of-the-year donation of $2,500.
The Weymouth-based non-profit organization, dedicated to building affordable homes in partnership with families in need, received an additional sum from Hill & Partners earlier in the year resulting from two marketing campaigns. The firm donated funds to South Shore Habitat for Humanity during its “Like Us” on Facebook drive and a subsequent marketing campaign that showcased its move from Quincy to offices in Weymouth. The “We’re On the Move” campaign asked visitors to the Hill & Partners website to participate in an online game; for each person who did, the firm made a donation to South Shore Habitat for Humanity.
“Our team has a strong commitment to giving back and feels privileged to contribute to many charities… and in particular to an organization like South Shore Habitat for Humanity that assists so many families throughout the South Shore and Greater Boston area,” said Michael McMahon, president and CEO of Hill & Partners Inc.
Over the years, staff members at Hill & Partners have also volunteered their time to assist with building projects for Habitat for Humanity, taking to heart Habitat’s slogan “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”
“We thank Hill & Partners for developing a creative fundraising and marketing plan that supports our mission of building affordable housing,” said Rajani Mitchell, development manager at South Shore Habitat for Humanity. “Their energy and commitment to our programs is remarkable; from employee volunteer days and internet fundraising campaign to their generous donation of $2,500, Hill & Partners exemplifies the true meaning of corporate partnership.”
