Professional Convention Management Association [PCMA] launched its Business Events Series online training subscription. The interactive series offers on-Demand topical training and development tools for business events professionals.
Unique to the industry, PCMA will release three series modules annually – each tackling current topics relevant to the business events industry. The Digital Events module, released today, will be followed by Increased Revenues from Events in October and Concepts in Meeting Design in December.
By purchasing the subscription, professionals will obtain ten series licenses, which can be shared across their teams, to gain topical knowledge and earn CEUs. Additionally, subscribers are prompted to return to the modules for the latest content and trend updates.
“Feedback from our professionals told us they struggle to keep their teams current on critical and trending industry topics,” said Deborah Sexton, PCMA President and CEO. “The Business Events Series is an easy to use training tool that helps leaders ensure their teams are at the top of their game.”
The Business Event Series is supported by a grant from the PCMA Education Foundation and sponsored by NYC & Company.
“The development and delivery of this new product truly aligns with the Foundation’s mission to fund educational programming that advances our industry,” said Meredith Rollins, PCMA Education Foundation Executive Director. “We believe our expansion of online courses will serve as invaluable resources to PCMA’s members and customers – now and into the future.”
“NYC & Company is pleased to partner with PCMA in support of the Business Events Series,” said Jerry Cito, NYC & Company’s Senior Vice President of Convention Development. “The continued education of today’s meeting professionals is critical, and this invaluable tool will lend itself to perpetuating the growth, advancement, and evolution of our industry.”
