Catalyst Exhibits and Wargaming.net create battlefield exhibit

wargamingGlobal exhibit design firm Catalyst Exhibits, Inc. collaborated with Wargaming.net for a large battlefield-style exhibit design at the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), held in Los Angeles from June 5-7.

E3 serves as a global launch pad for game developers in the industry to announce new developments and products. The 2012 event took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, drawing in more than 45,000 industry stakeholders and media representatives.
Visitors to Wargaming.net’s booth space viewed their 10,000 square foot, two-story exhibit design, featuring numerous gaming stations, viewing areas and a scale-replica of a World War II-era fighter plane.

“We’ve worked with Catalyst on several shows, ranging in size from mid-sized to impressively large,” said Matthew West, VP of marketing, Wargaming.net. “They have been an incredible partner and we consider them to be an integral part of our team.”

To stand out amongst the 200 other exhibitors at E3, Wargaming.net’s exhibit design needed to convey larger-than-life scale.

To stand out amongst the 200 other exhibitors at E3, Wargaming.net’s exhibit design needed to convey larger-than-life scale, battlefield aesthetics and realistic gameplay synonymous with their line of gaming products. Mission objectives required the design to introduce the concept of an online-portal for a common gaming universe, gaming facilities for nearly 50 gamers to test-drive battle tanks and pilot fighter planes, a large demonstration area for viewing an upcoming naval-based game, and space for conducting press meetings.

“Given our latest undertaking with a 100′ x 100′, two-story booth and a staff of over 100 at E3, we could not have done it without them,” said West. “Anyone who has the opportunity to work with the team at Catalyst will be in great hands.”
