The Exhibit and Event Marketers Association (E2MA) announced they have contracted with the Association of Equipment Managers (AEM) to provide exhibitor-appointed contractor (EAC) registration services for four shows in 2013 and 2014.
The shows for which E2MA is handling EAC registration for the AEM are AG Connect, World of Asphalt, ICUEE-The Demo Expo and ConExpo-Con/AGG.
AG Connect takes place Jan. 29-31, 2013, at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Mo. AG Connect brings together the very latest in equipment, technology and ideas from all areas of agriculture production from all around the globe. World of Asphalt is scheduled March 19-21, 2013, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio. World of Asphalt is an international exposition and education resource for the asphalt, pavement maintenance and traffic safety industries.
ICUEE-The Demo Expo is scheduled Oct. 1-3, 2013, at the Kentucky Exposition Center, in Louisville. ICUEE-The Demo Expo features live, job-like outdoor demonstrations and indoor exhibits featuring the latest products and services available. ConExpo-Con/AGG is slated March 4-8, 2013, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and showcases the latest construction equipment, products, services and technologies.
E2MA has developed the EAC online registration system to ease the process by which exhibitors notify show management of their intent to use EACs for show move-in and move-out.
E2MA’s EAC Registration services include:
• Distribution of pertinent show information to all EACs through the E2MA web portal and weekly newsletter.
• Exhibitors designate their EACs online using the E2MA EAC registration portal.
• E2MA obtains all required paperwork from registered EACs.
• Organization / distribution of all EAC access credentials.
• E2MA representation on site.
E2MA is the tradeshow industry’s newest association and was formed by combining the Tradeshow Exhibitor’s Association and the Exhibitor Appointed Contractors Association. The mission of the E2MA is to enhance the expertise of exhibit and event-planner professionals in exhibit and event marketing and to raise the level of service excellence on the show floor.
The new association is comprised of more than 500 member companies representing more than 17,500 full-time tradeshow professionals and more than 45,000 part-time tradeshow workers. The association is headquartered in Bend, Ore.
