Northstar Travel Group now owns 10 new hospitality investment events after acquiring an investment portfolio that includes events that were previously owned by Burba Hotel Network, the American Hotel & Lodging Association, and others.
The largest among those events is the Americas Lodging Investment Summit, which is billed as the largest hotel investment conference in the world. The event, which is put on by AHLA, draws a global audience of CEOs, investors, lenders, developers, and hotel management companies to Los Angeles annually. For the future, AHLA and Northstar have entered a long-term partnership agreement to co-produce that and affiliated events in the United States.
Northstar currently produces more than 60 events worldwide for the travel, meetings, and hospitality sectors. With the addition of 10 new events to its roster, the events segment is now the largest part of the company’s operations, officials said, adding that incorporating Northstar’s various capabilities to the production of events, including information and technology management, will provide a rich catalyst for growth going forward.
