In celebration of Take Your Child to Work Day, the staff at Global Experience Specialists (GES) invited their employees’ children to their Las Vegas facility.
They learned about their parents’ job duties, had their photos taken and participated in activities. GES President Steve Moster welcomed the children and shared fun activities with them.
“It made me happy to see their excited faces as they began to solve the mystery of what their parents do all day,” said Moster.
The children shadowed their parents and toured GES’ facility. This included a cart tour of a warehouse, and they took home graphics of some of their favorite cartoon characters, such as Spider-Man, Iron Man and Hello Kitty.
After the graphic sheet came off the Vutek flatbed printers, the children were allowed to touch it. They participated in interactive games and won prizes, including the graphics they saw produced. Before the day ended, the children ate pizza with their parents.
National Take Your Child to Work Day gave the children an opportunity to spend time with their parents. They saw firsthand the work their parents do for GES’ clients and learned about the functions of the facility.
