Exchanging strategic information and operational tactics for the events industry is the goal of the International Summer University (ISU) scheduled June 26-28 in at the University of Cologne in Germany.
Sponsored by the Institute of Trade Fair Management, the University of Cologne and UFI, the “global association of the exhibition industry,” the event is condensed across three days of intensive lectures, discussions and networking. This year’s event also will focus on innovation while offering strategic operational and “visionary” sessions, interactive workshops and case studies to ensure practical discussions and top-class speakers who are academics, practitioners and “lateral thinkers.”
Attendees also can enrich their business networks and prove their professional value through social events, including a get-together and an excursion, that provide opportunities for networking activities. Attendees also will receive a personal certificate signed by the responsible university professors and by the UFI president.
Event registration is available online at www.ufi.org/Medias/pdf/ufiactivities/education/2013_isu_registration_form.pdf.
Nearly 200 exhibition professionals from 35 different countries participated in the ISU in the past four editions.
