Ensuring a focused learning environment, Meet the Experts sessions are scheduled away from the show floor in the Olympia Conference Centre during The Meetings Show UK, a new event for the UK meetings industry that takes place July 9-11 in London.
“Meet The Expert sessions offer an opportunity to get up close and personal with our speakers. Through direct discussion and a relatively informal atmosphere, they can learn about issues that impact meetings professionals from around the world,” said Steve Knight, event director, The Meetings Show UK.
These more than 50 campfire-style sessions of up to six people will offer bite-sized learning opportunities and are led by a range of industry experts who will cover:

“We have researched the market, sought expert advice and created a learning program that offers a wealth of opportunities to all our visitors,” said Knight.
Qualified hosted buyers can schedule meetings with organizations relevant to their business while benefiting from a personalized and funded-travel experience; complimentary bed and breakfast at a four- or five-star hotel; transportation to Olympia Conference Centre from host hotels and networking venues as well as a choice of hosted buyer lounges complete with Wi-Fi. Buyers can apply individually or as a group brought together by the show’s partners and exhibitors.
The Meetings Show UK was launched by Centaur Exhibitions, a UK-based business information and media group.
