High demand expands Technology Village at EIBTM 2013

Officials for EIBTM 2013, scheduled Nov. 19-21 in Barcelona, Spain, have announced plans to increase the size of the show’s Technology Village as a direct response to high demand received from international technology suppliers and exhibitors.

Exhibitors in the Technology Village can benefit from the opportunity to demonstrate their products to buyers in a dedicated innovation showcase. Leading global technology companies that already have signed up to make the most of the benefits of pre-show publicity and exposure include Shocklogic Global, Ungerboeck Systems International, Soft Congres, Goomeo, EventPlatform, Amiando, Meta-fusion, etouches, Conference Compass, Spotme(shockfish), PSAV Presentation Services, Psideo SA and key4events.

EIBTM organizers also will continue the Technology Watch award program. Now in its 14th year, The Technology Watch award is the longest running and most high-profile technology-recognition scheme for the meetings and events industry worldwide.

Chaired by meetings technology expert Corbin Ball, the Technology Watch judging panel will select an organization that has demonstrated a new and innovative technology solution they believe will make a significant contribution to shaping the future of the industry, giving visitors and exhibitors an insight into the progression of meetings and events technology.

Entries for the annual EIBTM Technology Watch Award can be submitted online at www.eibtm.com/techwatch. Entries close on Sept. 6.
