Capitalizing on the success of 2018 and looking to the future, Visit Indy is excited to announce they have hired Baylee Johns as senior sales manager covering the Midwest market; promoted Brooke Godsey to sales manager covering the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia market; promoted Ashley Sisson to meetings express sales manager handling groups under 75 rooms on peak nationwide and up to 150 on peak in the Midwest; promoted Emily Scheiderer to senior sales manager of business development and customer relations; and promoted Chris Cecil to business development manager.
Johns brings nearly a decade of experience to the position, most recently spending six years with the Omni Severin Indianapolis Hotel as senior sales manager.
Sisson, Godsey and Scheiderer all graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Convention, and Event Management from Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis. Sisson began her tenure with Visit Indy in 2008 and Godsey brings five years of industry experience to the position. Scheiderer spent three years with the Westin Indianapolis before joining Visit Indy in 2013.
Cecil previously served on Visit Indy’s convention housing team and spent time with the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.
