2013 IAEE Mid-Year Meeting to feature president of Tradeshow Logic

B.J. Enright will be joining three others in “Creating the 365-Day Long Conference & Exhibition,” a session on transforming a tradeshow or event into a 365-day ongoing event. Other panel members include Barbara A. Myers, CAE, vice president of professional development, ISPE; Kevin Miller, president, Frost Miller Group; and Julianne Rill, associate director of continuing education, ISPE.

The hour-long session will share advice and insights on how to develop a strategy to transition an event or exhibition to a year-round model. The premise behind the session is that by creating programs to reach past, present and potential attendees on a year-round basis, show organizers can build awareness, loyalty–and increase revenue opportunities.

“Ongoing engagement builds a sense of community. Once a show organizer achieves that, loyalty becomes automatic, and growth becomes easier to achieve,” said Enright, president, Tradeshow Logic.

During the session, attendees will apply what they’ve learned to create a real-life case study. As a group, they will provide suggestions and create a plan to extend the life of one of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering’s (ISPE) events. A large not-for-profit association, ISPE will implement the plan created by the session attendees and share the results in December when the same session is presented again at the IAEE Annual Meeting.

An association for the global exhibition industry, IAEE provides education and networking opportunities during its Mid-Year Meeting.
