IT&CM China Pushed Back Due to Coronavirus

In light of the ongoing novel coronavirus, organizers of IT&CM China and CTW China in Shanghai have decided in the interest, well-being and safety of all valued event delegates and stakeholders to defer the 2020 event to Aug. 3-5, subject to the recovery and control of the outbreak. The MICE event was originally scheduled for March.

This course of action of deferring mass gatherings including large-scale exhibitions and conferences like IT&CM China and CTW China, is in line with advisories by health and government authorities (World Health Organization) to prevent, contain and mitigate spread of the virus.

Further, as the status of the outbreak is constantly evolving, the postponement of the event is deemed to be the most appropriate step at this point when travel risk within China is heightened, and health and safety are immediate concerns on the top of everyone’s minds.

Organizers TTG and China-based CITS MICE will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates when necessary.

For delegates and partners who have already confirmed attendance for the event, respective TTG liaisons will be in touch shortly to review participation options. You may also contact the following teams for assistance:

Organizers of IT&CM China wish for safe months ahead and look forward to participants’ continued support for the August event.

IT&CM China is the country’s leading international MICE event, co-located with CTW China and held in Shanghai in March yearly. For more info, visit
