Rail Explorers, the all-ages, outdoor-adventure attraction featuring pedal-powered rail bikes, announces Heather Abel as its new division manager for the Las Vegas location. Bringing years of experience in the Southern Nevada entertainment and special events industries, Abel looks forward to enhancing the Rail Explorers’ customer experience with additional themed rides, entertainment and community partnerships.
Prior to joining Rail Explorers, Abel oversaw advertising, special events, community partnerships and program development as strategic partnerships manager for The Las Vegas Monorail Company. In addition, she served as team-building facilitator for Impact4Good as well as event producer and consultant for Green Scene Productions. Abel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality management from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Outside of her current role, she is also an ordained minister and a group fitness instructor.
“As a long-time Southern Nevada resident, I am thrilled to join the Rail Explorers team,” says Abel. “It is truly an honor to bring my 13 years of experience in the Las Vegas entertainment industry to this unique adventure and create new ways to weave the history and outdoor beauty of Boulder City into the experience.”
