IKEA has debuted its first small-store concept in Southeast Asia at JEM Mall, Singapore. The IKEA Jurong store marked an important milestone in the brand’s journey of transformation to meet the needs of today’s customers and be near where people live, work and play. Spanning three levels, the 6,500-square-meter store is a source of inspiration for home furnishing ideas, with room settings specially tailored to depict Singaporeans’ home living situations. The brand’s first fully cashless store comes packed with digital solutions, such as all-in-one kiosks, mobile co-workers who can create purchase orders from anywhere in the store, and self-checkouts for a seamless online-offline shopping experience.
