Patrick FitzPatrick joins Corporate Events New England to assist with the rapid growth in the face-to-face marketing space, fortifying Corporate Events’ deep events expertise with his general services contractor (GSC) and show management experience. Prior to joining Corporate Events New England in June 2022, Patrick was Chief Operating Officer of Special Event Rentals/SER exposition services, one of New England’s leading GSCs from 2015 until its closure in 2020.
SER exposition services served a variety of clients and institutions as diverse as UMass Medical Center, the Big E, Rhode Island Home Show, Boston Fan Expo and Rhode Island ComiCon. As COO, Patrick sought to increase the company’s breadth of offerings and market share in New England and across the Northeast, while improving the company’s services and processes.
Patrick’s event industry experience began with Key3Media, the owner and producer of such shows at ComDex and NetWorld+Interop among others, as it spun out from a succession of owners including Ziff-Davis and Softbank. Patrick has worked in information systems, logistics & supply chain for companies such as Price Waterhouse, Hills Dept Stores and OpSec Security.
Patrick earned an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, a B.S. in Operations Management from UMass/Boston and is a US Army veteran.
