The Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced the appointment of Karen Williams-Goetz to the Greater Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau Commission.
The Commission is the policy-making body of the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau, the community’s tourism marketing organization.
Williams-Goetz is owner of KWG Inspired, a full service event design and management consulting firm based in Louisville. Prior to opening her own firm, Williams-Goetz spent 23 years working at the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau as Executive Vice President. She retired from the Bureau in August 2012.
Williams-Goetz was appointed by Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer. She replaces Gary Ulmer whose term on the Commission had expired. Williams-Goetz’s term will expire in August 2016.
