Like a baseball team making a run at the World Series, Apogee Exhibits and Environments is bolstering its “bench strength” with the acquisition of Exhibits and More, a New York company specializing in museum exhibit design, fabrication and installation.

Mark Taylor, president and CEO of Apogee, says the purchase of Exhibits and More enables his company to expand fabrication capabilities, gain a larger footprint in shop and warehouse space, and bring on some “extremely talented and experienced” personnel. He did not disclose financial terms of the Aug. 30 transaction.

“The abilities that this team brings to the table in all areas help increase and improve our ability to help clients showcase their brands,” Taylor explains in an email to Exhibit City News. “There is a shortfall of experienced professionals in our industry, so the addition of this team provided an increased bench strength for Apogee so we can best serve our clients.”

With offices in Syracuse and Rochester, N.Y., Exhibits and More has created unique experiences in the museum design and fabrication space for 40 years, and adds a capability that Apogee did not previously possess, Taylor notes.

It’s the second acquisition this year for Apogee. In January, the company acquired FB Displays, expanding Apogee’s presence as a major player in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region of New York.

Jeff Vandeyacht, co-founder and COO of Exhibits and More, states, “We at EAM are incredibly pleased that, after 40 years of building the finest team of exhibit designers and fabricators in the world, we have been able to secure their future and the legacy of Exhibits and More through this acquisition with Mark and Apogee. We are excited to join forces and expand the services and capabilities available to our clients.”

Among the advantages of Apogee’s acquisition:

  • Expanded CNC machining capabilities, enabling the creation of complex and custom exhibit components.
  • 3D signage capabilities, providing clients with eye-catching and immersive branding opportunities.
  • An extensive catalog of rental elements for trade show exhibits, offering clients a cost-effective and sustainable solution for their exhibit needs.

  • Superior Logistics
