Elevation Exhibits and Events announced first and second-place wins for booth designs at the TS2 conference in Boston.

Elevation Exhibits, an award-winning exhibit design firm, announced the company has changed its name to Elevation Exhibits & Events (EE&E) and is opening an office in the greater Seattle area.

In addition, the company also announced first and second-place wins for booth designs at the TS2 conference in Boston recently.

The name change reflects expanded business development and shifting trends in the marketplace. Along with the greater global reach it has developed over the last 18 months to support client exhibitions around the world, EE&E is also finding clients desire total solutions for logistics, staging and the support of other messaging events.

“Clients realize that what we’ve been able to do for them to support trade shows overseas or at the far end of a continent has just as much value in their own backyard,” said Jim Burke, EE&E founder and principal. “Beyond exhibit design and production, our expertise simply helps clients to develop marketing events anywhere that absolutely get their point across.”

Besides the name change, growth has also led EE&E to open an office in Seattle, Wash.

“As our market evolves, we are mindful of structured growth,” said Burke. “We feel this is the time to extend a local presence for our west coast clients.”

An EE&E booth won best-of-show last week in Boston at the TS2, Total Solutions Marketing conference, which is a major venue for exhibit and event professionals. In addition, second-place was also awarded to a different EE&E booth which was designed and produced for their client AVFX, an audio-visual firm.

Since the TS2 event happened on home turf, EE&E sustained Boston’s “Red Sox Nation” theme for its own booth design. The Elevation Nation exhibit was built around a major league vision with a JumboTron wall, sporting memorabilia and staff dressed in baseball jerseys. With baseball cards printed up as business cards, EE&E caps and trophy pictures of client booths designed and built over the years, the company made a strong impression in competition against industry peers.

Also at TS2, EE&E moderated a discussion panel that explored the benefits of using social media and other new technologies to improve client processes. EE&E President Ken Karns and Creative Director David Silva described the company’s experience leveraging social media to streamline marketing efforts and help advance the RFP experience for client and vendor.
