The Best of beMatrix USA Awards streamed live online on Wednesday, December 18, celebrating innovation, sustainability, and design excellence in the exhibit and event industry. This year’s virtual ceremony showcased exceptional projects that leveraged the versatile beMatrix system to create stunning booth designs, retail spaces, and experiential activations.
This year’s ceremony spotlighted the exceptional talent and vision driving the exhibit and event industry forward.
“These awards were created to outline some of the most creative and innovative designs utilizing the beMatrix range of products. Our industry is filled with many talented and creative individuals, so these awards serve to highlight their achievements,” said the event’s host during the live-streamed ceremony.
Best of beMatrix Category Winners
Best Trade Show Design Less Than 600 Square Feet
- Winner: Altitude Exhibits for their Cordis build. Altitude Exhibits impressed judges with their creative use of the beMatrix Double Deck to maximize the limited space. The booth’s lit corners added a dramatic and engaging visual effect, showcasing the brand beautifully.
- Runners-Up: The Expo Group for their IMEX America 2024 booth.
Best Retail Design
- Winner: Sistexpo for their Hublot build. Sistexpo’s design mirrored the sophistication of retail environments, blending the beMatrix system with Hublot’s brand identity to create a space that felt indistinguishable from a physical retail store.
- Runner-Up: Mackenzie Exhibit for their Grundéns build.
Best Trade Show Design Greater Than 600 Square Feet
- Winner: Studio Displays Inc. for their Vecoplan design. Judges praised Studio Displays for integrating LEDskin into an innovative angled configuration, combining custom elements with beMatrix frames to create a cohesive and visually striking booth.
- Runners-Up:
- Northern Productions Inc. for their Babcock design.
- Sistexpo for their Botanical Display.
- Displayit for their Deep-Sea design.
Most Innovative Use of beMatrix Products
- Winner: Genesis Exhibits for their Blue Trident build. Genesis Exhibits transformed a single booth into a multi-product experience, incorporating LEDskin walls to house private meeting rooms and serve as a dynamic, engaging backdrop for the client’s brand stations.
- Runners-Up:
Best Event & Experiential Design
- Winner: 4Wall Entertainment for their Boston Marathon Bank of America build. 4Wall Entertainment’s design blended local cultural elements like Boston’s subway and Fenway Park’s Green Monster into a registration space that reflected the marathon’s spirit while connecting with attendees and the host city.
- Runners-Up:
- SE Productions for their BuzzBalls build.
- AGS Expo Services for their National Hot Water build.
Most Xtreme Design
- Winner: Sartorius Deconstruct for their dynamic dark lines installation
This category highlighted designs that pushed creative and technical boundaries, with Sartorius leveraging beMatrix’s Extreme Solutions line to craft a bold, standout display.
Best Use of LEDskin
- Winner: Elevation 3D for their Alliant build. Elevation 3D’s design featured an impressive LEDskin monolith with offset and layered panels, creating a dynamic and visually captivating effect that drew attendees into the space.
- Runners-Up:
- 4 Productions for their IAEE booth.
- Saks Exhibits for their Revenue build.
- The Expo Group for their NCS build.
Sustainability Award
- Winner: SE Productions for their Washington State Wine Commission build. SE Productions collaborated with the Washington State Wine Commission to create a sustainable solution for the Taste Washington event. The reusable beMatrix frames and graphics significantly reduced waste, aligning with the brand’s eco-conscious values.
- Runner-Up: No Limits Design Global for their Panama build.
