The show featured over 300 exhibitors, 270+ hours of CE sessions, new experiential zones, and keynote speakers including Venus Williams. Aimed at families with children ages 2–12, the ride’s exact details remain under wraps, but officials promise an unprecedented experience. The news follows the upcoming launch of the SEA LIFE Florida Aquarium, opening May 23, 2025, giving families even more reasons to return to the Winter Haven theme park.
Universal Orlando Opens Terra Luna Resort Ahead of Epic Universe Launch
Universal Orlando has opened Terra Luna Resort, its second new hotel serving the upcoming Epic Universe theme park. The 750-room property welcomed guests on March 25 and sits across from sister hotel Stella Nova, which opened in January. Both are Prime Value Hotels operated by Loews and feature sleek, mid-century modern design with bright, minimalist lobbies. Terra Luna is just south of Epic Universe, which officially opens May 22. Alongside Universal Aventura Hotel, the trio offers affordable accommodation with early park admission perks, expanding Universal’s capacity as excitement builds for its newest theme park.
Loews Invests $1 Billion in New Hotels for Epic Universe Launch

SeaWorld Orlando Marks 1,000th Manatee Rescue
SeaWorld Orlando has reached a major milestone with its 1,000th manatee rescue, highlighting nearly five decades of marine animal conservation. In 2024 alone, 61 manatees were rescued, with 38 successfully returned to the wild. Through partnerships with federal and state agencies, SeaWorld’s rescue efforts support ecosystem health and public education. The park also opens its new SEA LIFE Aquarium on May 23, expanding its conservation mission and guest offerings.
