Hunter Expositions, a Montreal-based exhibition design and production company, is pleased to announce the addition of Françoys Tessier as Senior Project Lead. With more than 30 years of experience in the tradeshow industry, and an early career in concerts management, Françoys brings a wealth of expertise and a lifelong connection to the world of live events.
Before moving into exhibitions, Françoys worked in cultural productions, drawn to the unpredictable and effervescent energy of live shows. That foundation instilled a passion for managing complex, high-pressure environments, which has defined his career ever since. His path later converged with Hunter Expositions’ founder, Gery Hunter, during the “Fedor years” in Montreal, making this reunion a full-circle moment.
“Exhibitions are a tightly woven industry: you may change companies, but paths often cross again,” says Gery Hunter, Founder of Hunter Expositions. “Welcoming Françoys to the team is especially reassuring in today’s fast-paced environment. His wealth of experience, clear-headed approach, and trusted relationships already make a real difference for our growing team.”
A former exhibit company owner himself, Françoys understands the intricacies of leadership, client relationships, and the complexity of large-scale projects. His deep knowledge of show sites, diverse project types, and operational challenges make him both a trusted partner and an exceptional mentor within the company.
Françoys’s arrival further strengthens Hunter Expositions’ ability to deliver creative, efficient, and client-focused solutions as the company continues to expand across North America.
