ZenSpace Event Solutions has installed reservable private meeting pods at Moscone Center in San Francisco, giving attendees space for calls, small meetings, and focused work without leaving the venue.
The soundproof pods are located in high-traffic concourse and lobby areas. Attendees can reserve them through an app or QR code, with real-time availability shown through the booking system.
Each pod includes power outlets, USB charging, Wi-Fi, and screen-casting technology. Options range from single-user Focus pods to larger Team pods and wheelchair-accessible models.
Pods add private space inside venue
ZenSpace says the pods can turn concourse and lobby space into a new source of venue revenue.
“ZenSpace pods add a layer of convenience our event organizers and attendees have been requesting,” says Leonie Patrick, general manager of Moscone Center. “On-demand private meeting space in our lobbies means attendees can conduct business without leaving the venue, a must in a post-pandemic world where most people are beholden to video conference meetings. ZenSpace pods are a real benefit for event planners, their attendees, and a differentiator for Moscone.”
ZenSpace says it has deployed meeting pods at more than 250 events nationwide. The company also recently announced an installation at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
Service expands to major convention centers
At Moscone, the pods are part of a broader effort to offer attendees private workspace within the convention environment. The company says additional venue partnerships are planned for 2026 and 2027.
Moscone Center is managed by Legends Global and offers more than 1.1 million square feet of event space across its campus.
