Access TCA, an independent event marketing agency, selected an account director to handle some of its larger healthcare clients.
Joining the company’s Healthcare Practice is Beth George, who is taking on this leadership position in Access’ West Coast healthcare presence.
“Beth comes to Access with unmatched strategic, organizational and operational skills in business development and account management,” said Jon Ellms, vice president/principal and lead, Access’ Healthcare Practice. “She excels in client relations, international sales, advisory board and focus group execution, project management, sales training and event/operations management.”
Starting her career at Reed Expositions, George quickly transitioned to healthcare organizations, such as the National Managed Health Care Congress, where she headed up exhibits and sponsorships. With the sale of NMHCC, she was named executive vice president at World Congress and was responsible for employer and technology divisions.
Four years ago, George launched a consulting business, guiding associations, non-profits and other groups on marketing strategy, sponsorships, membership and other business development endeavors. Her clients included Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP)
A New England native transplanted to California, George holds a Bachelor of Arts from Emerson College.
