In her new leadership role, Wilkinson will lead recruitment and retention programs for ACVB’s current and prospective members. She will also oversee planning a range of industry events, including ACVB’s annual meeting and Atlanta Hospitality Hall of Fame ceremony.
Wilkinson has held several roles within the organization, beginning as coordinator, trade show sales in 2016, then advancing to manager, sales and most recently serving as destination services executive. For the past six years, she has played a pivotal role in supporting major citywide events like CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship, DECA International Career Development Conference and SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference. She has also led the planning and execution of UpNext Atlanta, overseeing sponsorships, run-of-show and tracking attendance.
Wilkinson is an active member of the Event Service Professionals Association and recently received her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification. Wilkinson is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in business administration, majoring in hospitality and tourism management.
