Adcraft initiates leadership changes

Adcraft Inc. announced changes in its management team’s responsibilities as part of the company’s succession planning.

Wendall Blanton Jr. becomes CEO while his son, Dan Blanton, takes over as president and his grandson, Shea Blanton, now serves as vice president.

“These changes in responsibilities are part of our strategic and succession planning,” said Wendall Blanton Jr. “Just as my father prepared me to run this business, Dan and Shea have the experience and expertise to ensure that Adcraft remains a successful family-run business for years to come.”

Wendall Blanton Jr. has served as the company’s president for more than five decades, working in every aspect of the business founded by his father in 1933. As CEO, he now oversees the strategic direction of the family business.

Dan Blanton, son of Wendall, formerly served as vice president. He has been with Adcraft for 30 years. As president, Dan is responsible for the full-service exhibit company’s day-to-day operations. Shea Blanton, son of Dan, moves from his role as account executive. He joined the company in 2006. As vice president, Shea takes on additional responsibilities for client services and new business development, including new markets and services.

Founded in 1933, Adcraft was one of the first companies to offer tradeshow exhibit design, construction and related services. The St. Louis, Mo.-based company is an industry leader in designing and fabricating custom exhibits for trade shows, corporate exhibit showrooms, lobby displays and museums. The family-run business offers exhibit design, exhibit rentals, exhibit booth installation and dismantling, exhibit graphics, tradeshow planning and warehousing.
