For RATIONAL USA at the 2026 National Restaurant Association Show (NRA), bringing their 50×70 island booth to life meant engaging their trusted full-service event partner, BlueHive Exhibits. Cooking for the Big Screen
As RATIONAL USA’s trusted exhibit partner, BlueHive manages every aspect of the brand’s Top Tier US tradeshow program, from exhibit design and fabrication, graphics and logistics, to installation and vendor coordination. Through their turnkey show management services, BlueHive executed RATIONAL USA’s vision for NRA to incorporate into their modular 50×70 booth fully functional kitchens, a sit-down restaurant, and a streamed TV “cooking show” area to demo products on the show floor.
At the heart was a central pillar featuring two widespan LED displays that broadcast multiple camera angles of the close-up food preparation and cooking results, as well as branded content. The displays not only enhanced the educational experience but also attracted attendees from across the show floor, transforming the demonstration areas into engaging, theater-style environments.
Ice 9’s challenge was determining which LED tile solution from their vast inventory could deliver exceptional image quality while integrating seamlessly into the existing booth design without adding complexity to the build.

With decades of experience supporting large scale live broadcast events, Ice 9 evaluated the project’s technical requirements and selected their Aluvision Hi-LED pro P1.5 tiles for RATIONAL USA at NRA.

The lightweight cabinet design, integrated connectors, and one-step quick-lock system streamlined installation and dismantle, allowing BlueHive’s labor division, Lime I&D, and their hired crews to work efficiently while maintaining precise alignment throughout the structure. The installation team completed the build approximately three hours ahead of schedule: a testament to both careful planning and the efficiency of the system.
The Hi-LED pro P1.5 tiles also feature advanced flip-chip IMD technology, delivering reduced heat output and lower energy consumption without compromising on durability and color consistency.
