An Exhibit Surveys executive to present at two E2MA events in Chicago

Exhibit Surveys, Inc., a provider of research, measurement and consulting services for the exhibition and event industry, announced that its executive director of strategic research development will present at two upcoming Exhibit & Event Marketers Association (E2MA) events, EXPLORE and the Red Diamond Congress.

Jeff Stanley will give the keynote presentation at EXPLORE, an event for senior marketers who seek to leverage intelligence and content to create richer face-to-face marketing experiences that maximize event investment.

His speech on “Trends in Event Engagement” will take place at the Hyatt McCormick Place in Chicago on July 29. The presentation will be based on experience measuring and consulting with multi-national companies that exhibit in major exhibitions.

Exhibitors are evolving in how they use exhibitions strategically. The uncertain economy and shrinking budgets have forced them to re-think their event strategies. Other long-term factors in play include competition for marketing budgets and from new marketing channels.

A panel discussion on “Buying Behavior/Metrics” at EXPLORE will feature Stanley; John Mikstay, CEM manager, event audits, BPA Worldwide; and John Nawn, founder, The Perfect Meeting.  Moderating the panel is John Hasbrouck of NewLeads.

The panel will explore aspects of attendee buying behavior and the spectrum of tools and technologies available for attending tracking and analysis.  In the 2013 Customer Attainment from Event Engagement Study, marketers identified their top two challenges: making a strong business case for show participation (45 percent) and managing the escalating costs and budget/resource requirements of tradeshows (39 percent).  What could address these issues are new technologies, such as analytics tools that track booth visits, length of stay and engagement levels that will help track, identify and monitor customer and prospect engagement.

Stanley will then head over to nearby McCormick Place on July 31 for his workshop with Candace Johnson, senior account executive of ExhibitForce.com, on “Measurement: How to Start!” at the second annual Red Diamond Congress. This summit attracts more than 200 corporate exhibitors and event managers.

Johnson and Stanley’s workshop will help attendees create a strategic event measurement plan and identify tools to set goals, track performance, use resources and budgets effectively and help prove Return on Investment (ROI) and Return on Objectives (ROO).

Hosting EXPLORE and the Red Diamond Congress, Exhibit & Event Marketers Association is a thought leader and content development organization for corporate marketers and their suppliers in the face-to-face marketing medium.
