Andaz Wall Street, the only hotel situated on Wall Street in New York, welcomed a new director of sales and marketing who will generate revenue for the hotel through room bookings, meetings, weddings and events.
Bringing over nine years of diverse and impressive experience within the Hyatt family, Parvaneh Miller most recently served as the director of sales and marketing at Andaz Savannah where she pioneered sales strategies and partner relations, resulting in $11 million in revenue for 2014. In her new role, Miller will be responsible for overseeing the hotel’s sales and marketing efforts.
As a member of the Hyatt brand since the beginning of her career, Miller is well-versed with the Andaz culture and has executed various strategies to improve revenue and sales. Following her graduation from Washington State University in 2006, she delved immediately into hospitality, serving as an assistant front office manager at Grand Hyatt Seattle where she quickly enhanced guest satisfaction and provided management support for hotel operations. Miller later took on roles at Grand Hyatt Seattle as meeting connections sales manager and Andaz San Diego as business and leisure travel manager, where she achieved over 206 percent revenue growth during the 2011-2012 year. At her most recent endeavor as director of sales and marketing at Andaz Savannah, Miller created over 46 percent profits in 2014.
“Andaz Wall Street holds a strong commitment to excellence and quality,” stated Rusty Middleton, general manager, Andaz Wall Street. “With her impressive background and breadth of expertise, selecting Parvaneh for this position was a natural decision, and I know she will be a phenomenal asset to the hotel.”
Fluent in Farsi and familiar with global practices, Miller has been nominated for numerous leadership awards throughout her positions at Hyatt branches and is no stranger to generating exceptional work.
“I’m elated to be part of the Andaz Wall Street family, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with the amazing talent at the hotel,” said Miller.
