2025 ASAE-USAE Travel Scholarship

The ASAE Research Foundation is proud to announce the 2025 recipients of the ASAE-USAE Travel Scholarship – an initiative designed to support a diverse pipeline of association professionals who demonstrate a strong commitment to professional growth and leadership but may face financial barriers to participating in the ASAE Annual Meeting.

Each year, through the generous support of the ASAE-USAE Scholarship Fund, deserving professionals are awarded up to $5,000 to help offset the cost of attending the ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition, which this year will take place August 9–12, 2025, in Los Angeles. In addition to financial support, recipients receive complimentary registration for the meeting.

Congratulations to this year’s ASAE-USAE Travel Scholarship recipients,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. “They represent the future of association leadership — curious, committed, and determined to drive positive change. By supporting their access to transformative learning experiences, ASAE is investing in a more inclusive, innovative, and resilient future for our profession.”

2025 Future Leaders Professional Development Scholarship Recipients

The ASAE Research Foundation has announced the recipients of the 2025 Future Leaders Professional Development Scholarship, which supports the career advancement of young association professionals.

In 2025, the scholarship will provide each selected recipient with $3,000 to cover registration and travel and lodging costs for any in-person ASAE event. In addition, recipients will be matched with experienced association leaders for one-on-one mentoring sessions. Eligible applicants must be 35 years old or younger, employed at a trade or professional association, philanthropic organization, or association management company, and be current ASAE members.

This initiative is supported by a founding donation from ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE, as well as corporate donors Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP, Destination Cleveland, Hilton ASAE Business Services, Inc., and others committed to building the association leadership pipeline.

“The Future Leaders Scholarship is a launchpad for rising talent in our community — providing not just resources, but real opportunity to grow, connect, and lead with confidence. These recipients aren’t just the future of our field — they’re already shaping it. ASAE is proud to champion their journey and fuel the momentum of the next generation of association leaders,” said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE.
